Our Story — Born from the Flower Palace of Skardu
High above the Indus River, where the Karakoram mountains rise like ancient sentinels and apricot blossoms drift across stone fortresses, there lived a queen whose name became legend.
Gull Khatoon — Mindoq Gyalmo, the Flower Queen — came to Baltistan as the beloved wife of the great ruler Ali Sher Khan Anchan of Skardu. She brought with her the arts of Mughal gardens, Persian culture, and an exquisite love of beauty that transformed the highland kingdom forever. Her palace, Mindoq Khar — the Palace of Flowers — stood on the same sacred rock as Kharpocho Fort, filled with marble fountains, fragrant gardens, and the finest crafts of the era.
That palace is gone. But its spirit was never lost.
A Family Legacy, Carried Forward
Gull Khatoon By Aniee's was founded in Skardu, Gilgit-Baltistan — the same city where the Flower Queen once walked — by Ainee, whose family has kept the spirit of Balti craftsmanship alive across generations.
Inspired by the grace, culture, and enduring legacy of Gull Khatoon, this brand was born to do one thing: bring the living heritage of Baltistan to the world, beautifully.
We believe that every handwoven thread, every embroidered motif, every stitch in a Kapsha shoe or fold of a Qaar shawl carries a story older than any modern design.
Our artisans — the hands and hearts of this brand — are the true descendants of that Flower Palace tradition. They work not in factories, but in homes and workshops throughout the valleys of Gilgit-Baltistan, crafting every piece with patience, skill, and generations of inherited experience.
What We Make — And Why It Matters

The Flower Palace Lives On
Mindoq Khar stood proudly for generations before history changed its fate.
Yet the traditions it nurtured — the weaving, embroidery, craftsmanship, and stories — never disappeared. They survived in the hands of grandmothers. In the looms that still echo across Skardu. In the leather workshops nestled among the Karakoram valleys.
Today, they live on in every handcrafted piece we create.
When you choose Gull Khatoon By Aniee's, you are not simply purchasing a product — you are becoming part of a living heritage that continues to preserve the beauty, artistry, and culture of Baltistan for generations to come.
Welcome to Gull Khatoon By Aniee's.
Welcome to the Flower Palace.
